StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking a full time Children's Mental Health (CMH) Navigator to improve coordination of mental health services across member organizations and reduce duplication of services to positively impact the lives of families in the community. The position will serve as a bridge to needed services including counseling services, crisis response, substance use treatment, and inpatient treatment.
Responsibilities:
- attend meetings,
- perform outreach to community partners,
- conduct education and training sessions,
- develop and maintain a community child and adolescent mental health resource list, and
- collect and analyze data to ensure the program is meeting identified goals and objectives.
Schedule: This is a full-time/non-exempt position scheduled Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the department. Position works on-site at StarCare's Sunrise Canyon Complex.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university within a human services field, required.
- (2) years full-time experience in a related field, preferred.

- Experience in working with kids and families with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or severe emotional disturbances.
- Knowledge of the social services system and the ability to guide workforce members in connecting children and adolescents with appropriate services.
- Ability to work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must have a Texas driver's license, liability auto insurance, and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.
