Description

StarCare Specialty Health System is seeking a Child & Adolescent Services Manager to join it's outstanding Outpatient Mental Health Services Team supporting people with mental illness in Lubbock and the surrounding communities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the oversight and administration of the Child & Adolescent Services program, which includes the effective planning, organization, administration, and evaluation of the operations of Outpatient Mental Health Services, Multi-Systemic Therapy program (MST), HHSC System Navigator Program and Youth Empowerment Services (YES) Waiver. This includes ensuring well-trained personnel perform job functions within the organization and that outcomes indicative high quality service provision is achieved.
  • Duties include ensuring the programs comply with all Health and Human Services (HHSC), Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) guidelines, ensuring the financial viability of programs. Provide leadership, guidance, and leadership to assigned staff including recommendations for staffing (hiring and terminations) as well as provide a positive work environment with continuous quality evaluation and improvement.

 

Schedule: This is a full-time/exempt position scheduled Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, with flexibility to meet the needs of the Behavioral Health Division.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a human services field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work), appropriate state recognized license (LPC, LCSW, will consider an LPC-Intern).
  • Four (4) years of full-time paid related work experience (or other intensive support service area) serving people with mental illness and/or Intellectual Disabilities.
  • At least one (1) year of upper-level management experience.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-hire drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Must have a Texas driver's license, liability auto insurance, and be insurable under the Agency's insurance.
